The Greening of the residential construction industry continues to pick up steam across the U.S. In a recent survey of it's members, the American Institute of Architects (AIA) reports that consumers are showing an increased interest in energy-efficient products and designs. While this should come as no surprise with the recent dramatic increases in energy costs the "Home Design Trends Survey" gives credence to the idea that the Green building trend is likely to find it's way into the American mainstream.
